How to Bid

There are two ways to bid on an item of interest:

• Proxy Bidding
• Live and Silent Auction Bidding at Event

Proxy Bidding

Proxy bids are available if you are interested in a piece but cannot attend the event. Register a proxy bid by contacting Dena Duncan at Three Gaits. Determine the maximum you're willing to bid and we will bid on your behalf throughout the evening.
If you are the winner, your credit card will processed and we will notify you by phone. Your new art piece can be picked up at the Three Gaits Office.

Live and Silent Auction Bidding at Event

The 10th Annual Chair Affair & Art Auction will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Promega BioPharmaceutical Technology Center, located at 5445 East Cheryl Parkway in Fitchburg. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 8:00 p.m.

At registration, a bidding number is assigned to each person. Art pieces will be auctioned both live and silently throughout the evening. 

Near each silent auction item, a sheet describing the piece is displayed. Please note, each piece has a specific opening and minimum bid amount. You may bid on any item of interest by indicating your bid amount and number. The silent auction items will be closed prior to 8:00pm with winning bids announced thereafter.

Check your bids often during the night to assure you remain the highest bidder!

All proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit the
Three Gaits therapeutic horsemanship program.
