How to Bid
There are two ways to bid on an
item of interest:
Online bidding is not available this
year.
Proxy
Bidding
Proxy bids can be used if you are
interested in a chair or piece of art but cannot attend the event.
Register a proxy bid by deciding the maximum you're willing to bid
and contact Three
Gaits. We will bid on your behalf throughout the evening up to
your maximum amount. If your bid is the highest at the end of the
auction, you are the winner of a new chair or art item. We will
notify you by phone. The piece can be picked up at the Three Gaits
Office within 10 days.
Silent Auction
Bidding at Event
The 7th Annual Chair Affair & Art
Auction will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Sheraton Madison
Hotel, located at 706 John Nolen Drive in Madison. The event starts
at 5:30 and concludes at 8:30 p.m.
At registration, a bidding number is
assigned to each person. Located by each item available for bidding,
is a sheet containing the name of the artist and title or description
of the piece. You may bid on any chair or art item of interest by
indicating the amount you are willing to pay and your bidding number.
Review the sheet throughout the night to determine if you are still
the highest bidder. When the auction closes, the highest bidder will
claim the piece!
All
proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit the
Three Gaits therapeutic horsemanship program.
