Fitch

December 2011: Fitch has retired from the program but will continue to live at Three Gaits. Fitch suffered an eye injury this fall. He is recovering well from the surgery to remove his eye, and has been adopted by Three Gaits volunteers Dana Wagner and Katie Harmelink. Thank you, Dana and Katie!

• School Horse Specialty:  Fitch is a sensitive guy who likes riders who are calm & quiet. He’s responsive and forward, but has a lovely calm demeanor.
• Previous Life:  Fitch did a little bit of everything. His last owner participated in dressage lessons as a junior rider.
• Did you know?:  Fitch is both a Paint and a pinto. Paints are stock type horses (like Quarter Horses) colored like pintos, which is a color registry. Pintos have a lot of markings/patterns, Paints are a breed of horse.
