KB
May 20, 1992 - May 2, 2014
On Friday afternoon (5/2/14) during a
routine appointment with our veterinarian, KB suffered a seizure and
passed away. There was absolutely nothing that could be done, and it
was very fast. KB was one of those special horses that glue
themselves to your heart.
She arrived just before the July 4th
show in 2008 - and fit in immediately. We knew that any horse that
was as calm as she was in the middle of our annual open show would
be perfect, and she was. She was an opinionated Morgan mare - and
not afraid to voice her opinions. She had a huge heart and tried so
hard...always. A favorite of so many of our program's
participants.
KB was a key part of the program. She
was a wonderful therapy partner in the hippotherapy program, a
valued part of our therapeutic riding program - with her bouncy trot
she helped so many riders sit up straighter as they learned to post
- and carried several of our instructors through their certification
rides.
Please join us in thanking Kira
Novakofski for sharing this wonderful friend with us over the past 6
years - KB helped so many people during her time at Three Gaits. She
was an amazing girl and we were incredibly fortunate to be able to
come to know her!
